*****************************Dark Quest Game Tips****************************


Since tips written in instructions and Dark Quest readme file are a bit
outdated and several people reported that game is too difficult to them, 
I decided to write this TIPS file. It's a set of tips which point to
the best tactic to use in the game

Main game rule: You NEED to make as many possible kills. Mana is vital
                for any success in this game.

Main game tactic: Use the hero first to kill as many enemies you can.
                  Drain poison spells from magicians, lure them.
                  When you have 3-4 energy units left, retreat and send
                  your party. If you are really near to make one or two
                  more kills you can fight until you have 1 or 2 energy 
                  units, but then you won't be able to snatch kills later.
                  What do I mean with "snatch kills"? When you make your 
                  kills and send your party to finish the level you must 
                  stay on a safe distance, but still be close enough to 
                  be able to kill enemies near death. If you have 1 or 2 
                  energy units left, that is very risky to do.

The best way of using the hero: Don't attack enemy warriors one by one. Walk 
                                into a group of them and try to hit more of 
                                them at once. Be AGRESSIVE and FAST. Don't swing 
                                like a sissy. When using bombs or poison fields 
                                inflict more enemies at once. Lure groups of 
                                enemies into small space.

The best way of using the party: Don't send your party on magicians which 
                                 have poison spells. It's the worst thing you 
                                 can do. When you make an attack with the 
                                 party, try to lead (guide) all of your men 
                                 to the enemy. Don't leave some of them 
                                 unused (stuck).

Things to know: Almost ALL magicians have ONE poison spell. When an enemy 
                is following the hero and the warrior from you party attacks 
                him, the enemy will start to attack this warrior and not the 
                hero anymore. Have this fact in mind and try to use it in 
                your advantage.

Things you need to do: Make all the kills in level 1 and try not to use
                       the bomb. In level 2 make 5 or 6 kills and use
                       the bomb to wound (kill) 3 or more enemy
                       warriors. You shouldn't have any problems in
                       accomplishing that. Sometimes you can make great 
                       scores in level 2, like up to 8 kills!
                       In level 3 use one poison spell between trees, close
                       enough to the bridge guard so that it inflicts them 
                       too. First lure some of the enemies from the left. 
                       If you do this well, you can make 7 or 8 kills in 
                       level 3. This is enough to finish the game. Even 
                       less is should do.

Final words: I can finish the game in every attempt. Well, almost. 
             Sometimes you can have bad luck in level 1, but it's easy 
             to restart from that point. What I want to say is that the 
             game is quite easy if you play it right.
